Paul G. Volk

VOLK---Paul G., 71, East Taylor Twp., went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2023. Born June 21, 1952 in Johnstown, son of John E. and Gwendolyn J. (Teeter) Volk. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by wife of 50 years, Gloria J. (Mountain) Volk; son David Volk and husband, Jack Powers, Audubon, NJ; sister, Susan Brown and husband, Todd, Cape May Court House, NJ. Paul was self-employed as the owner-operator of Volk’s Appliance Service. Paul’s passion was the audio-visual ministry at Emmanuel Church, Richland. He was actively involved in that ministry for over 25 years. He operated a camera, was an editor and directed the programming. Being a part of the ministry was very important to him and he always worked on making it easier. He was also involved in many ministries throughout his life. His spiritual gift was service to his fellow man. Paul also assisted those around him who needed help. He was known to cut lawns, shovel snow and get the mail for neighbors when they were in need of assistance. At Paul's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
