Dorothy F. Karl

Karl – Dorothy F., (92) of Richland Township. Passed away peacefully on Sept. 18, 2026 at Windber Woods. Born on Sept. 19, 1933 in Windber, Pa. Daughter of, Guin and Bertha (Hollsopple) Gahagen.  Preceded in death by parents, husband James, brothers Vernon Blough and Eugene Gahagen and sisters, Ruth Lashinsky and Nancy Faccini.  Survived by her loving children: James, married to Mary Wolfhope, New Cumberland; Janet, wife of William Davis, Carrolltown; and Thomas, married to Laurie Herdman, Johnstown; grandchildren; Adam, Ryan, Amie, Colleen, and Emily; and 4 great grandchildren.  Brother, Gwynn Gahagen, Windber.  Member of Bethany Church and dedicated member of the quilters. Former member of the United Methodist Women’s Bowling League. Member of the Solomon Run Fire Hall Ladies Auxiliary.  Email condolences to www.harrisfuneralhome.com.
