Howard - Debbie, 73, passed away on October 5, 2026. She was born on June 7, 1953 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents Nancy and Larry McCloskey, grandmothers Isabella McTaggert Bollington, Lena Howard, beloved brother Billy Howard and nephew Jason Howard.
Survived by her adored son, Justin Nagle and his wife Kelly. Also survived by her wonderful grandchildren, Taylor, Mason and Caden Nagle. Survived by brothers, Jody Howard and wife Aleta, Saint Louis, and Jon Howard and wife Courtney Marietta, PA and sister-in-law, Glenda Howard-Lamothe, New Hampshire. Also many special nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
Deb attended Conemaugh Township High School and graduated from Johnstown Vo-Tech. She went to night school for 14 years to complete her Bachelors Degree and Master of Business Administration where she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Saint Francis University. She worked for Memorial Medical Center and retired from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield after nearly 20 years. Deb loved spending time in Pittsburgh and loved the city.Deb’s favorite part of her life was time spent with her family. She loved going on vacation with Justin, Kelly and the kids and also taking her mom and Larry on new adventures to show them the world. She valued all the time spent at little league, football games and musicals just watching the grandkids. She enjoyed planning the New Years Eve “special themed” parties with her grandkids when they were younger and hand-making all of their Halloween costumes. Deb loved music and attending concerts, with The Beatles and Elton John being at the top of her list. Her many hobbies included crafting, playing cards, gardening, shopping and trips to the casino.
Viewing will be held from 2 p.m. until time of celebration of life at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 10t, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. On line condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com.
