Joseph E. Reynolds

REYNOLDS---Joseph “Joe,” 80, East Conemaugh, passed away on June 9, 2024 at Select Specialty. Born September 28, 1943 in Johnstown son of the late Harry L. and Mary A. (Torok) Reynolds. Preceded in death by siblings, Leander, Gertrude Zidik, Leona Patterson, Ron Reynolds, Delores Reynolds, In-laws, Meade Patterson, Charles Zidik Jr. and Sandra (Weimer) Reynolds, nephews, Charles Zidik, Jerry Daugherty II, Michael Schellhammer and Michael Faight, nieces, Christina Patterson, Corrie Patterson and Melanie Barbus. Survived by sisters, Patricia (Jerry) Daugherty and Margie (Gary) Howie, nephew, Bucky, with whom he resided, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, along with beloved canine companions “Pinky” and “Sadie.” Joe retired from Johnstown General Cleaning, where he worked for over 50 years. He was owner/operator of Joe’s Family Ties (formerly known as the YAP Club in Conemaugh), where he enjoyed hosting friends and family for BINGO, polka and grape dances, weddings and holiday celebrations. Joe will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2024 at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Church of the Transfiguration, with Very Rev. Matthew Baum officiating. Committal, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Joe’s family will be forever grateful for the loving care and compassion given to him by the staff of Select Specialty.
