Wyona A. Shaffer

Shaffer, Wyona A., 95, of Richland. Went to be with our Lord Jan. 13, 2017. Born Nov. 8, 1921, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Frank H. and Cora M. (Paul) Berkey.  Also preceded in death by husband Galen M. Shaffer; siblings, Thelma, Paul, Gerald and Wade Berkey; son in laws, Bob Trent and Bill Huss. Survived by daughters, Romayne Trent, Gale (Guy) Genett, Joyce Huss and Marlene (Denny) Brant; 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and 7 great- great grandchildren. Sister of Dale (Hattie) Berkey and Feryl (Beverly) Berkey. Member of Bethany United Methodist Church, where she often volunteered in the kitchen. Wyona was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who greatly loved her family and  enjoyed baking, cooking, knitting, crocheting and sewing. Friends received 2-7 PM Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, and from 9 AM to time of service at 10 AM Wednesday at Bethany UM Church. Pastor Larry Dunn and Rev.
