William Francis Kulback

Kulback - William F., 91, Johnstown, passed away on September 19, 2022 at Richland Woods with his wife of 70 years by his side. Son of Michael and Anna (Vlasaty) Kulback. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Dr. David L. Kulback, and brother, James E. Kulback.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Mary Kulback; sons, William M. and his wife, Jackie, Steven E. and his wife, Phyllis, and Dr. Kenneth J. and his wife, Jessica; daughter, Annette and her husband, Dr. Allan Grossman; grandsons, Gregg Kulback and his wife Johanna, Andrew Grossman, Dr. Alec Grossman and his wife, Kayla, Elliott, Kurtis, and Collin Kulback; granddaughter, Kenzie Kulback; great-grandson, Theo Kulback, brother Michael Kulback, sister Shirley Capretti and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Bill was a US Army Veteran who served as a Sergeant during the Korean War, where he earned the US Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Service Defense Medal, and the Korean Service Medal with a Bronze Service Star with rank of Sergeant. He retired from Bethlehem Steel as a Craneman. Bill was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, where he was an usher for most of his adult life. He was an avid golfer, bowler, hunter and Steeler fan, but his greatest love was his family.

Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28^th, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil Service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29^th, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum with military rites conducted by Menoher Post #155 VFW Ritual Team.
