Walter A. Stiles, Jr.

Stiles, Walter A. Jr., 89, of Coral Springs Florida, formerly of Johnstown. Died July 12, 2021, at home in the presence of his family. Born Jan. 7, 1932, in Johnstown. Son of Walter A. Sr. and Mabel (Young) Stiles. Also preceded in death by grandson, Samuel Stiles, brother Jerry Stiles and daughter in law, Mary Lou (Hutchison) Stiles. Survived by wife of 70 years, Phyllis M. (Warshel) Stiles; children, Linda Hobba, Valerie Schrott, Walter A. III (Cheryl) Stiles, Richard (Barbara) Stiles and David Stiles; also, numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother of Dallas Stiles. A Navy Veteran of Korean War. Retired Co-Founder and CEO of Precast Wall Systems. Walter was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed oil painting, fishing and was a private pilot. Walter had an extraordinary zeal for life and was an unstoppable force. Friends received from 11 am until  time of service at 1 pm Saturday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Rev. David Streets, officiating. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Military Rites by Conemaugh Valley Detachment, Marine Corps League.
