Vicki Lynn Valinsky

VALINSKY---Vicki Lynn (Silko), 69, Windber, passed away on December 30, 2022 at home. Born November 25, 1953, in Johnstown, daughter of John J. and Geraldine C. (Parks) Silko Sr. Preceded in death by her parents. Survived by husband of 41 years, Barry L. Valinsky; brother and sister, John Silko, and girlfriend, Del Eckenrod , Johnstown; Patricia Mellon and husband, Dave, South Carolina; and her beloved cat, Putter and numerous nieces and nephews.Vicki worked for Bestform for 20 years and also at Gee Bee. In the early 1960’s, Vicki was a baton twirler for the Wagner Candy Candiettes. She was always quick to help others and enjoyed being at home and playing video games. Taking care of the house was very important to her. She had a good sense of humor. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2023 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane Richland, where Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023 with Very Rev. James F. Crookston officiating. Committal, Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
