FEATHER---Vanessa Marie, “Nessy,” 25, Somerset, passed away on September 12, 2026 at UPMC Shadyside. Born August 24, 2001, in Johnstown, daughter of Brent S. Feather and Diane I. (Hagens) Ohler. Preceded in death by grandfather, Harry P. Hagens and step-grandfather, Donald E. Kline; paternal grandmother, Diane M. Feather and uncle, David L. Hagens. Survived by parents, Brent S. Feather and step-mother, Kelsi J. Crist and Diane I. (Hagens) Ohler and step-father, Michael J.; siblings, Cody, David, Hailey, Tiffany and Hunter; maternal grandparents, Lora (Lori) J. Kline; Paternal grandparents, Steven A. Feather and step-grandmother, Sandy Price; step-grandparents, Gary and Becky Ohler; step-grandparents, Wayne and Bev Crist; Uncles, Chris D. Feather, Brant S. (Amy) Feather; Perry (Heather) Feather; Special aunt and uncle, Dawn (Craig Dunmeyer) Hagens and aunt, Amanda (Ron) Graham; also survived by numerous cousins, including special cousins, Elizabeth (DeVonte) Jordon and Michael Sauro. Nessy was a 2019 graduate Greater Johnstown High School. She will be remembered as a kind, beautiful soul who had a way of making you laugh with her childlike sense of humor. She taught us all to see the world through a child’s eyes and to not take life so seriously. She left a mark on all of our hearts and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She loved listening to country music especially Luke Bryan, spending time with her family, especially with her Grandma Lori. Some of her favorite songs were Waves by Luke Bryan, Heaven by Kane Brown and In My Daughter’s Eyes by Martina McBride. She loved animals especially grandma’s cat, pumpkin, and she loved helping people in whatever way she could. Nessy had a smile that could light up a room and if you had a bad day, that smile took it away!
