Travis R. Young

Young – Travis R., “Tyoung”, 22, Boswell, formerly of Upper Yoder Township, went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2016. Born on September 10, 1993 in Johnstown, son of Robert W. Jr. and Melissa A. (Edelmann) Young, Upper Yoder Township.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Olivia J. Young, Boswell; sisters, Megan F., and Marley A. Young, both of Upper Yoder Township; girlfriend, Ashley L. Vogel, Boswell; maternal grandparents, Leonard J. and Diane F. (Wingard) Edelmann, Bedford, PA; paternal grandparents, Robert W. Sr. and Darlene (Sendek) Young, Salix, PA, and many friends.

Travis was a graduate of Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center in the Electrical Technology Program. He was employed as an electrician for Krause Electric. Travis loved riding and racing dirt bikes with his dad. He loved spending time with his entire family, but especially the love of his life, Olivia.

At the family’s request there will no public viewing. A private Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Private inurnment will be held at a later date.
