Theodore "Ted" Bozich

Bozich, Theodore, “Ted”, 82, of Geistown, passed away on December 7, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born on January 11, 1928 in Conemaugh. He was the son of the late Joseph and Stella (Bozic) Bozich. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, N. Marie (Adams) Bozich; daughter, Marilyn J. wife of Jeffrey C. Elliott, Greensburg; son, Harry T. married to Rhonda L. (Varnish) and his beloved granddaughters, Sarah Lea and Emma Marie Bozich, all of York, PA; sisters-in-law, Nola Jean wife of Richard Fletcher, and Gloria wife of George Tewart, all of Portage; brothers-in-law, Clair Adams, Charles Adams, and Herbert Adams all of Portage, John “Ben” Adams and his wife Janet, Johnstown and numerous nieces and nephews. Ted was a1946 graduate of Richland High School. He was a US Navy Veteran. Ted retired after 43 years of service from GTE where he was employed as a PBX Technician. He was past President of IBEW, Local # 1635. In addition to spending time with his wife, children, and granddaughters, Ted enjoyed his daily trips to the Corner Coffee Shop as well as all of his friends there. He was grateful to the staff at Arbutus Park Manor for the care provided to him and the continued care for his wife, Marie. Family and friends will be received from 4-8 P.M. on Friday and from 9 A.M. until time of service at 10 A.M. on Saturday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Private burial will be at Richland Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to Arbutus Park Manor, Benevolent Care Fund, 207 Ottawa Street, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Ted.
