Steven E. Hoover

HOOVER--Steven E., 67, Johnstown, died January 28, 2018, in Johnstown. Born February 15, 1951, in Lansing Twp., Michigan, son of Donald T. Hoover and Hazel I. (Swope) Hoover. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by wife, former Regina Rajewski, children, Janine McHale, Paul Fiore and Michael Hoover, and grandson J. Steve was a UPS driver for many years on Staten Island and later a TSA agent. Member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Johnstown, where he and his wife were instrumental in the creation of the Animal Welfare Ministry. He also helped at animal shelters and he and his wife were proud that their home is now a certified animal sanctuary. At Steve's request there will be no service or visitation. Cremation by Laurel Highlands Crematory at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. The family suggests memorial donations to the Animal Welfare Ministry at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 335 Locust St., Johnstown, PA 15901, in memory of Steve.
