Stella Steiner

STEINER---Stella (Hejnar), 94, Johnstown, went to be with our Lord on July 21, 2021. Born February 23, 1927, in Johnstown, daughter of Andrew and Sophia (Trzciak) Hejnar. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Laura Hejnar, brothers, Frank, Anthony “Chick,” and William Hejnar. She is survived by daughter, Patrice (Steiner) Berkey, granddaughter, Erika (Nate) Miller and grandson, William (Danielle) Berkey; great-grandchildren, Austin, Caden and Olivia Miller and Cameron Berkey. Stella was a graduate of the former Conemaugh High School where she was a member of the band. For over 50 years, Stella helped manage the Hejnar Hotel which was her family’s business. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First St., Conemaugh, with Rev. John J.
