Shirley Ann Partsch

PARTSCH- Shirley Ann, 87, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2023. Born Sept. 22, 1935, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Leo and Catherine (Shomo) Schellhammer. Also preceded in death by husband Theodore “Ted” Partsch.

Survived by son, Brian (Catherine) Partsch; grandchildren, Samantha (James) Dallas, Tiffany Partsch (Michael), Steven Partsch (Alisha); great grandchildren, Paige, James Dean, Layla, Wyatt and Emma, Carson, Easton and Cohen. Sister of Jesse (Sis) Schellhammer, and several nieces and nephews.

Member of Ss. Gregory and Barnabas Catholic Church, Daisytown, where she belonged to the Alter and Rosary Society and worked the fish fries. Shirley worked at the Hub as a clerk until she was 19. She then married Ted and started a family. They were married for 67 years and enjoyed so much together. Shirley joined the Cover Hill Fire Ladies Auxiliary where she volunteered and enjoyed working with the other ladies on activities. She was a member of “The Gang” which was a group of people who loved to get together and enjoy the good old  times. Shirley also loved spending time with the family and friends and going camping and fishing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
