VALINSKY—Sharon M., 63, Johnstown, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025 at home. Born August 21, 1961 in Johnstown, daughter of Walter J. and Evelyn M. (Jones) Seese of Dunlo. Preceded in death by parents; former husband, Jerry Poole; brother, Ronald Seese, and sisters-in-law, Diane Seese and Vicki Valinsky, brothers-in-law, Barry and John Valinsky; and Buddy, her faithful companion. Survived by grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, Corey, Hayden and Bryden Miller; Jaelan Haselrig; Shaela, Brandon, Nadiyah and Skylar Zungali; great-grandson, Genesis; her faithful furry companions, Prince, Mandy, Marley, Kobe, Miley, Duke and cat niece, Dixie; Grand-dogs, Titan and Lucky; loving husband, William Valinsky, daughters, Megan (favorite son-in-law, Charles) Miller, Melissa Poole (Aaron Ilnicki); son, Brandon Zungali; brother, Barry Seese and cousin, Bill Thomas; nephew, Michael (Sami) Seese; great-nieces and great-nephews, Abigail, Madelyn, Dakota, and Kailani, great-great-niece, Adalynn; former daughter-in-law, Jamie (John) Wise; Valinsky brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry (Merle), Philippines; Robert (Lorri), Thomas (Connie), James, Ronnie (Dawn) and sister-in-law, Lorry Valinsky. Also survived by numerous cousins from the Jones and Seese families; best life-long friends, Wendy Rouser and Lisa Howard; friends and family from the Dale Firemen’s Club. Sharon was loved by all who knew her. She was a great person who loved her family and friends dearly. She will be missed by all who knew her. Sharon worked at DRS Laurel Technologies for 19 years before her illness. She was a member of the Dale Firemen’s Club. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Harris Funeral Home 500 Cherry Lane Richland, and again from 10 a.m until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
