Sarah "Sally" C. Ringler

Ringler – Sarah C, “Sally”, 91, Geistown, went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2022. Born on November 10, 1931 in Johnstown, daughter of George W. “Jiggs” and Emma L. (Harshberger) Pfaff. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Barry L. Ringler, who stood to hug her when she entered Heaven; sister, Shirley Jean Bozich, and brother-in-law, Elmer Platt.

She is survived by her loving children, Lu Ann Ringler, Richland, Nelson E. “Skip” (Brenda) Ringler Richland; sister, Donna “Duke” Platt, Hollsopple; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Chipchosky, Warren, IN, Jamie Ringler, IL, Gaga to Sarah Kerr, Salix, and Cori (Klynn) Cvejkus, Sidman; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Asher Chipchosky, Lillian Ringler and Norbert Nowak, and Bryce Kocsis; canine companion, Buttons, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sally was a 1951 graduate of Johnstown High School. She retired from Richland School District after 20.5 years of service as high school secretary. Sally was a life-long member of Johnstown Christian Missionary Alliance Church. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed word puzzles, painting and most crafts, as well as sharing her love of Elvis with her grandchildren. Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Forest Hills Personal Care Home and Ali and her team from AseraCare Hospice. Sally loved her family dearly and will be remembered for her dimples when she laughed.

Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Monday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Bud Vogel officiating. Interment will be at Richland Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
