MILLER--Sandra Lee (Eplett), 86, Richland, died July 22, 2026 at Windber Hospice. Born September 2, 1939 in Johnstown, daughter of Byron R. Eplett and Dorothy I. (Grush) Abel. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Telford; sister, Leanne Papinchak. Survived by loving sons, Bruce E. Miller, married to the former Dawn Beam, Geistown and Telford E. Miller Jr., married to the former Shara Bozich, Johnstown; and by grandchildren, Christopher, Patrick, Maggie, Paul and Levi and two great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Lois, widow of William Sievers, Johnstown and Carol Eplett, Missouri; and by half-brothers, Frederick Abel, Florida and Bryan Eplett of Johnstown; half-sisters Beverly Newsome, Ohio; Kimberly Becker, Stephanie Lasky all of Johnstown and many nieces and nephews. Sandra was a 1958 graduate of Richland High School. In the 1970’s, she was employed by O’Shea’s Candy in Geistown and Walden Book Store in the former Richland Mall. She enjoyed working with people. Sandra concluded her working career at Lowe’s Home Improvement where she retired from in 2004. She was a member of Bethany Church of Richland. Sandra loved family get-togethers, especially lunches every month. Her family was very important to her. She enjoyed bowling and being with friends. She was a volunteer at the Arbutus Park Manor, in the gift shop and the library. She also was a member of The East Hills Senior Activities Center, sang in the Senior Chorus, and enjoyed going on bus trips with her friends. In recent years, she belonged to the Rise and Stride Club at the Galleria. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m., Monday, July 27, 2026 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Pastor Adam Dotts officiating.
