GREELEY—Sandra M., 82, Johnstown, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2022 at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh. Sandra was born on July 25, 1940, in Conemaugh to the late Leo Roy and Gertrude (Troy) Yingling. Preceded in death by parents; siblings, Russell Wainwright and wife, Gen; Jack Wainwright and wife, Dorothy; Robert Wainwright and wife, Betty Lou; Romayne Cooper and husband, Maurice; Louise Cordetsky and husband, Michael; Charles “Mick” Yingling; Edward “Bud” Yingling and wife, Anna Marie; William "Bill" Yingling; George “Butch” Yingling and wife, Joan; Duane “Joe” Yingling; Larry Yingling; Leo Yingling; Ronald “Ace” Yingling and son-in-law, John Mascatello. Survived by children, Beth Ann Mascatello; Brian Greeley and wife, Catherine; Colleen Meffe and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Brian, Olivia and Luke Mascatello; Caitlin and Joseph Greeley; and Isabelle, Sophia, C.J. and Sean Meffe. Sister of Kenneth Yingling and wife, Joanne. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Erma Yingling, Wilda Yingling, Claire Ann Yingling and Charlotte Yingling; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored dearly. Always the devoted mother and grandmother, Sandra never missed a major milestone in their lives. She was nicknamed “Gabby” by her grandson, Brian James decades ago and was referred to as such by family and friends for the rest of her life. She was an active member of St. Benedict Catholic Parish for over 40 years and was a former member of the choir. Always a social and caring person, Sandra most enjoyed spending time with her lifelong friends from Johnstown and her recently made friends from Greystone where she resided. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where vigil will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, Fr. David S. Peles Pastor. Entombment, St. Joseph Mausoleum.
