Ruth J. Kring

Kring – Ruth J., 93, of Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2017 at Richland Woods Assisted Living Center. Preceded in death by her parents Olin Davis Mason and Jessie Katherine Mason, and her husband, Roy I. Kring. She is survived by her loving sons, Roy M., married to the former Shirley Hilsgen, Bedford, MA; Richard O., married to the former Jeannine Andree, Mint Hill, NC; and Rollin P., married to the former Beth Govek, Menomonee Falls, WI; grandchildren, Shaun (Erica), Burlington, WI; Justin (Heather), Kenosha, WI; Katie, Menomonee Falls, WI; Allyson, Mint Hill, NC; Randy, Portland, ME: and Ryan, Brookline, MA; great grandchildren, Ella and Eli Kring, Burlington, WI; Ethan and Nolan Kring, Kenosha, WI; sisters, Shirley Russell, Pittsburgh, PA and Evelyn, wife of Paul Ling, Seattle, WA. Ruth was a 1941 graduate of South Fork High School. She retired from W.T. Grant Company after 20 years of service as an office manager. Ruth was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church, where she and her late husband, Roy attended for many years. Ruth enjoyed square dancing, camping, her dog Brandy, and visiting and going on trips with her children and grandchildren. She more than anything loved her family and her Lord. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Larry G. Dunn officiating. Private entombment will be at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. The family suggests contributions be directed to Bethany United Methodist Church, 112 Leventry Road, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Ruth.
