Ronald P. Jones

Jones, Ronald P., 62, of Richland. Died Nov. 15, 2017, at home. Born July 16, 1955, in Johnstown. Son of the late William and Jane (Reighard) Jones. Survived by wife of 40 years, Ann B. (Ickes); children, Brad (Brenda); Andrea (Andrew) Stupi; and Amanda (J.R.) Slaventa; grandchildren, Dylan Slaventa, Benjamin Jones, Addison Jones and Andy Stupi. Brother of Larry “Har” Jones and Shirley Jones. Ron started his career as a coal miner and later joined the Carpenters Union Local 1419, Johnstown retiring in 2013. Member of Oakland United Methodist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors along with building and remodeling projects, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.  Friends received 10 AM Saturday to time of service at 1:30 PM Saturday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
