SHANK---Robert Thomas, 76, Windber, passed on February 3, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 14, 1943, in Shanksville, son of John Edward and Pearl May (Wentz) Shank. Preceded in death by parents; brother, George Shank and sister, Eloise Miller; grandson, Carlin Beri and son-in-law, Brian Clark. Survived by wife of 56 years, Gwendolyn (McGee) Shank; children, Lisa (Jay) Miller; Gwendolyn Clark; Roxanne Shank (Scott Crynock); Lucinda Drzewiecki; Bobby Jo Klinepeter; grandchildren, John Miller, Douglas Beri Jr., Joseph Beri, McKinley Drzewiecki; Zander Songer. Brother of Shirley (Thomas) Fleck and Alice West. Bob enjoyed fishing, boating and hunting. Bob cherished his family very much. He was a draftsman for Miller Picking, worked for M & K Mining and then later a foreman for Abex/First Mississippi Steel. At Bob's request, there will be no viewing or funeral service. If you wish to make a memorial contribution, please donate to a charity of your choice in memory of Bob. The family is being served by Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
