Robert E. Miller

MILLER—Robert E., 96, of Windber, passed away on April 2, 2022. Born on June 24, 1925, in Johnstown, son of Chester E. and Mildred (Wagner) Miller. Preceded in death by parents, wife, Eileen G. (Yarnick) Miller, brother, James E. and sister, Esther May Roxby. Survived by daughter, Rhonda and husband, Gary and Shelby and husband, Joe; grandchildren, Garrett and Tara and great-grandchildren, Trenton, Courtlynn and Cooper. Also survived by nephew, Greg Roxby. Robert was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He worked as a self-employed contractor and served as President of the Homebuilders Association. He was a former Mason and enjoyed hunting and fishing for many years. There will be a private funeral service at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Rev. David A. Streets officiating. Interment in the North Cross Section at Richland Cemetery.
