Robert James Kushner

Kushner – Robert (Bob) James 84 of Wesley Chapel, went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2025 at home. Born on May 21, 1940 in Johnstown, son of John and Mary (Sakmar) Kushner. Preceded in death by Parents, Wife Sara Jayne, Brothers Jack and Barry Kushner, and Sister Jane Bell, Granddaughter Chelsea Freeburg. Special dog companion Suzie.

He is survived by Daughter Christine Kushner companion Peter Coffman of Ridgway; Son Todd Kushner companion Dyanna Edwards East Taylor Twp; grandchildren Jared, Alayna, Haley and Hannah Freeburg; Great Grandson Clyde Thomas all of Ridgway; sisters Donna Austin (Bernie) from Flower Mound TX; and several nieces and nephews.

Bob was a 1957 graduate of Franklin High School. He managed Acme grocery store for 23 years before managing several other grocery stores and then owned and operated Pic Quik convenience store until he retired. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and attending car shows. Bob loved his 1957 Chevy Belair and spending time with family.

Friends will be received from 6pm to 8pm on Monday May 12, 2025 and Funeral Service will be on Tuesday May 13, 2025 at 11am at the Baker Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh, with the Father.
