Robert L. Jacobs Jr.

Jacobs Jr. – Robert L., 91, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2026. Born on March 31, 1934 in Johnstown, son of Robert L. Sr. and Helen (Panek) Jacobs. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois J. (Patterson) Jacobs.

He is survived by many friends, including special friend, Donald (Patricia) Schmidt, St. Michael. PA and Mary Ellen Coffman, Richland; step grandson, Drew (Brittney) Coffman, Geistown, and step great grandson, William Coffman “Little Bill”.

Bob was a 1952 graduate of Richland High School. He was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War. Bob retired from Universal Electric Manufacturing after 30 years of service as a Driver/Salesman. He enjoyed NASCAR and Johnstown Hockey as well as Penguin Hockey. Bob especially loved boating, and trout and pan fishing at Prince Gallitzin.

At Bob’s request, there will be no public viewing. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 6th, at Richland Cemetery with Rev. James Gay officiating and Military Rites conducted by Menoher Post #155 VFW Ritual Team. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society of Cambria County, 743 Galleria Drive Ext., Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Robert.
