Robert A. "Bob" Gorba

GORBA---Robert A. "Bob," 83, Richland, passed away on June 30, 2026. Born November 30, 1942 in Cambria County, son of William and Catherine (Malik) Gorba-Politsky. Preceded in death by parents; step-father, Joseph Politsky; son David A.; sisters, Dorothy Shields, Alberta Lazere and Martha Franey. Survived by wife, Susan A. (Lesko) Gorba; brother, William Gorba and wife, Susan, Altoona; sisters, Joann Nickol, Portage Township and Barbara Latoche and husband, Walter, Alum Bank; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. after many years of service. Bob enjoyed gardening and camping. He loved to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penguins. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Lilly.
