Gaydosh – Robert J. “Flashback Bob”, 72, Richland, went to the happy hunting grounds to be with the Lord on May 15, 2019 at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born on September 21, 1946 in Johnstown, son of the late John R. Gaydosh and Ann K (Korywchak) Gaydosh, Johnstown. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his Godfather, John “Moxie” Korywchak;  a myriad of aunts, uncles and cousins, and his loving canine daughter, Isabella. In addition to his mother, he is survived by the love of his life and fiancée, Deborah Kniss, Johnstown; daughters, Jessica L. (Matthew) Wall, Calera, AL and Briana D. (Wayne) Monroe, Southmayd, TX; grandchildren, Avery, Brayden, Landon, and Mallori Wall, Noah and Everlie Monroe; sisters, Barbara A. (Thomas) Brown, Gainesville, FL and Lynn M. (George) Rohde, Glendale, AZ; niece, Elizabeth Brown; nephews, Andrew (Emily) Rohde, Benjamin (Austin) Brown, and Aaron Rohde; many friends, and his canine daughter, Momma. Bob was a 1964 graduate of Richland High School. He was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Bob retired from DRS Technologies after many years. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, fishing, most of all being in the outdoors! Buffalo Bob was a die-hard Pittsburgh and Tomahawks sports fan as well as an avid supporter of the Johnstown community! His stories and epic rock air guitar performances and ornery sense of humor will forever be cherished and missed. PaBob loved his entire family, especially his girls and will be affectionately remembered as the gorilla glue of the family. Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Military rites will be conducted at the funeral home by Menoher Post #155 VFW Ritual Team. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests contributions be directed to either, Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter #364, P.O. Box 5237, Johnstown, PA 15904 or to the Disabled American Veterans, Johnstown Chapter #2, 3742 Graham Avenue, Windber, PA 15963 in memory of Robert. Online condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com. Cremation by Laurel Highlands Crematory at Harris Funeral Home.
