I worked with Rick on the JPD. He was truly a great officer and person.
The majority of my JPD stories start off with..... Rick and I were on this call....

Sorry to hear about your dad. He was a good friend, and he will be missed very much.

My deepest and sincere sympathy to the Pollino family. There aren't enough words and tears to post about this man who always had something to say that made you laugh and his visits were welcomed. I am thankful for the blessing of his visit a few years ago. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. He loved his children very much and was proud of them. There wasn't a conversation that Rick didn't mention his boys- The kindness they showed him and his love for them. You can be sure that he will be with you -always. The name "Vinny" and the stories of his life as a police officer will be shared many times and remembered for years to come. I shall miss my dear and loving friend.

So sorry to hear about the passing of your father. it was a pleasure to get to knowhim while we work at CTC!

We are so sorry for your loss. Vinny was a great, loving man. We worked with him at CTC. He would sit out back with us and chat on nice days. He always had something funny to share. We were very sad to learn of his illness and his retirement. He was actually in Hospice when my dad was in. Had we known that, we would have stopped to see him. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers. May Vinny rest in peace. Shelly and Allen Snyder

My heart goes out to his 3 wonderful sons, the beautiful family he created. My cousin Vinny was like an uncle to me and took me under his wing when I was in Johnstown. I am grateful for every moment I got to share with him as each one was memorable... He truly was the funniest man I will ever know, and I will love and remember him forever
