Polly Urbas

Urbas, Polly, 98, Johnstown. Died Oct. 3, 2011, at Conemaugh Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born September 29, 1913, in South Fork. Daughter of the late John and Mary (Skvarca)Derencin. Also preceded in death by husband, Joseph and sister, Mary Gracner. Survived by these children; Thomas, married to the former Karon (Cooper), White Lake, MI; Dennis and Karen of Johnstown; Jerry, married to the former Mary (Stetz), Johnstown. Grandchildren; Rene Urbas, Chicago, IL; Christina (Bryan)Corcoran, Davisburg, MI; and Jessica Urbas, Johnstown. Great grandsons, Joshua and Joseph Corcoran. Member of Conemaugh First United Methodist Church. Fifty year member of S.N.P.J., South Fork Lodge. A precious soul and devoted mother who remained active until a recent illness. Friends received from 3 to 8 pm Wednesday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, where service will be held at 10:30 am Thursday. Rev. Donald Krestar, officiating.
