Paul Joseph Kuchenbrod Jr.

Kuchenbrod Jr. – Paul Joseph, “P.J.” 51, South Fork, went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2026 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Born on January 12, 1975 in Johnstown, son of Paul Joseph Kuchenbrod Sr. and the late Audrey M. (Chimelewski) Kuchenbrod.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving sister, Stephanie L. Kuchenbrod, South Fork; uncles, Chester Chimelewski and his loving companion, Georgene Stein both of South Fork, and Kenneth (Pam) Kuchenbrod, Temple, PA, and several cousins and many friends.

P.J. was a 1993 graduate of Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center. He served 25 years as a US Navy Reservist traveling and exploring different countries. P.J. was a member of Summerhill Catholic Church; South Fork VFW #7524: Ebensburg American Legion Post #0363, and the Knights of Columbus Council #2275.

P.J. was employed at Walmart Distribution Center, Bedford, PA. He was avid old car enthusiast and enjoyed taking in a car show whenever he could. P.J. spent a lot of time hiking our local trails and numerous trails out of state. He enjoyed watching sports and also going to Steeler and Pitt games with his father. He enjoyed eating out at local restaurants with his sister. P.J. also enjoyed spending time with his unc Chet, riding quads and doing yard work. He will be remembered for his loving and kind nature.

At P.J.’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. Private committal will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Germany, with Fr. Joseph Nale and Military Rites conducted by Menoher Post #155 VFW Ritual. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
