Patricia A. Rees

Rees – Patricia A., 86, Richland, died July 22, 2017 at St. Jude’s Haven, Elton. Born on July 25, 1930 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Roman T. and Mary (Meehan) Lux. Also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; sister, Katherine Lux; and brother, Roman F. Lux Jr.She is survived by nephews and nieces; Jack Lux, Roman Lux, Barbara Ann Hughes, Gretchen Ellrod, Gregory Lux, Ileen Sirianni; and her children, Amanda, Alicia and Gregory; and friends Joe and Mary Ann Bittman.  Pat worked and retired as a registered nurse. A member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. She was a former member of Geistown-Richland Lioness Club. Patricia enjoyed reading, traveling, time with family and attending the annual St. Benedict Church Reunion. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil for the Deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggests contributions be directed to St. Jude’s Hospital for Children or to St. Benedict Catholic Church in memory of Patricia.
