McClafferty, Patricia Anne, 86, Johnstown, passed away on February 19, 2022 at home. Born June 27, 1935, in Johnstown, daughter of William and Mary (Friant) Boyer. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John C. McClafferty Jr., daughter, Mary Jane Makin, sisters, Elsie Rager, Joanne Byers and Mary Alice Packer and brother, Robert Boyer. Survived by children, Patricia A. McClafferty, Johnstown; John C. III (Leslie), Berryville, VA; Michael P., Windber; Colleen M. Glass, Murrietta, CA; Dennis L., Northern Cambria; Jennifer Layton (John), Rapid City, SD; also survived by grandson, Jamie P. McClafferty, who was raised as a son of Patricia and John along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and family dog, Fiona and family cats, Dusty, Yo-Yo, Handsome Harry and Butch. Sister of Nancy Donaldson, Maryland and Judy (Lyle) Borcherding, Johnstown; also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Patricia was a 1953 graduate of Johnstown High School. She was an avid bingo player and she and her husband loved camping and baking together. They had a motorhome and enjoyed traveling the U.S. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. The family will receive friends from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland where vigil will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Benedict Church, with Father David S. Peles, Pastor. Entombment, St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.
