Patricia Kay Krupa

KRUPA – Patricia (Patti) K., 69, of Richland, passed away after a long-term illness on May 6, 2023 at her residence. Born on August 21, 1953 in Johnstown, PA she was the daughter of the late William H. and Helen V. (Schmidt) Partsch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Hauser and brother-in-law, Frank Hauser.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 36 years, John M. Krupa; siblings, Arlene (John) Hamilton, of Waxahachie, TX, Helen (Paul) Campitelli, of Ocean City, MD, William (Susan Majcher) Partsch, of Roanoke, VA; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Patti was a graduate of Franklin High School. She was employed  as a Civilian Secretary for the US Navy. Patti was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She was known for her quick wit and humor and was especially admired for her extreme generosity, never missing a birthday or special occasion for countless friends and family. Patti lived her life with an upbeat attitude and positive and forgiving nature which will sorely be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who handled Patti’s care, especially the staff from DaVita Dialysis, hospice care at Pro-Medica, Conemaugh Home Health, and the Crichton Center.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where a vigil will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, Fr. David S. Peles Pastor. Entombment will follow at Richland Mausoleum.
