Olivia Catherine Red
Red – Olivia Catherine, 20, of St. Petersburg, formerly of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2018.
“SHE DID IT HER WAY”
You knew her…or you wanted to. Livy was “that girl”. She walked into a room and the light came on. Her glow put the sun to shame. Olivia was a ray of sunshine.
She was the girl who’d say, “come on let’s go for a drive or grab a cup of tea” or remind you that thing’s weren’t that bad. She was the first one to pick you up and she’d be the first one to set you straight. She was a champion of the underdog, she was good to people, funny, loyal and well….more than anything…Livy she was kind.
She was a champion on and off the soccer field. At the age of 7, she fell in love with soccer. Her goal was to play for Seminole High School. Not only did she play Varsity all four years, she broke the Lady Warhawks all-time scoring record. As humble as she was, you would never know she was sought after by colleges all over the country. By that time, her heart and focus was on seeing the world.
When the wanderlust hit her, Livy got to experience Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, the Caribbean, China and her favorite – Thailand where she undoubtly left her mark; including bathing elephants, riding mopeds through the mountains and even an altercation with monkeys.
Livy traveled the world but found the love of her life, Cody Gill in her hometown. Cody made her happy. They started their life together, made a home, dreamed new dreams, and completed it with their puppy Jackson. Livy found her way back to Pennsylvania to be with her family and to be close to her father, Ken Del Vecchio. The love she had for her family was immeasurable. She never missed the annual camping trip with her sisters and nephews. They taught her how to fish, hunt, ride quads and basically to love and enjoy the Pennsylvania Highlands. She was just as comfortable in heels and lipstick as she was “catfishing” with her sister Stephanie.
Olivia completed the lives of and will be deeply missed by her parents Tracy & Ken Del Vecchio, her sisters Nicole Levis, life partner Joe Antal III, nephews Tyler, Isaac, Blake & Luke. Her sister and brother in law Stephanie & Will Urban, nephews Gage and Peyton. Her brother Michael Red, sister in law Chelsea and nieces Kalee and Lilliana. Her Grandmother Judith Grove. Her Aunt Joy Ashurst and Aunt Debbie Thomas. Her Uncle & Aunt Daren and Aileen Ashurst, cousins Vanessa, Laila and Mia. As well as a host of extended aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family, and of course Cody Gill and their pup Jackson.

Every time I'm coming down 219, I always take notice to a White cross on the side of the road with the name Olivia Red on it. It has an Angel on the top, and a Gray Elephant stuffed animal around it, and although I don't know her or of her. I just want to say coming from a complete stranger that I am so sorry and I cannot imagine the pain and sorrow that any of you feel. I read about the accident that occurred and took her from this earth she seemed like she was a beautiful young lady and she touched a lot of lives in a positive way. I have a three-year-old of my own at home and I cannot imagine what it would feel like losing a child. So I am terribly sorry that you guys have to deal with the pain, and when I get home tonight I will say a prayer for you guys and for Miss Olivia. I know words cannot express how somebody feels or change the outcome of what happened, i just want you to know that tonight you guys will be in my prayers, her family and all of the lives she touched. My deepest and sincere condolences

Ken, Tracy and Family,
We are deeply saddened to learn of Olivia's death. She was a bright joyful light in the lives of everyone who knew her. We remember her at age 7, and her days of soccer games at Seminole High School.
Please accept our deepest sympathy. You are in our thought and prayers. RIP Livy with God and His angels.

Livy was a beautiful young lady, inside and out, due to being raised by an outstanding mother, Tracy and wonderful father, Kenny. We can't make sense of God's choice, however she was able to enjoy her wanderlust more than most, which makes us happy. She will certainly be missed but will never be forgotten. So many prayers and love to all.

This is so heartbreaking for all of us. Olivia is up there with all of her loved ones that preceded her to be with the Lord. Her Father John Red, Pappy Clair Grove, Pappy Ron Ashurst to name only a few. They are with her now. She is with all of us in spirit. She would not want us to grieve long. She was selfless to end and in I am in death I am sure of as well. Our lives are forever changed without our precious Livy. (Snot Rocket to me) I pray that my family will find comfort in the support of all who loved her.
