Michael Daniel Sexton

Sexton, Michael Daniel, 82, of Elton. Passed away Dec. 28, 2010, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Langhorne, PA.  Born Nov. 7, 1928, in Johnstown.  Son of the late James and Mildred (Rafferty) Sexton.   Survived by wife of 60 years, the former Violet Eileen Gearhart;  daughters, Cheryl, wife of Harry Birkhimer, Jr. of Allentown; Danette wife of Donald Overdorff of Johnstown; and Janice, wife of Gregory Fisher of Yardley.  Grandchildren; Brian Birkhimer, married to the former Janine Martini of Hazelton; Amy Birkhimer of Johnstown;  Justin Overdorff of Philadelphia; Christopher Overdorff of Johnstown;  Sarah Overdorff Smith, wife of Captain Michael Smith of Colorado Springs, CO; Ashley Fisher , Bradley Fisher and  Christian Fisher all of Yardley.  Also survived by five great-children.  Brother of Mary Elizabeth wife of Forrest Burnheimer of Johnstown.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Retired truck driver with 42 years of service.  Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church of Geistown.  Enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.  Funeral Mass at 10 am Friday at St. Benedict Church.  Fr.
