Michael R. Saylor

Saylor, Michael R., 27, of Davidsville. Died unexpectedly of a heart ailment on April 6th, 2019. Born March 8th 1992 in Johnstown. Son of Gary D. (Janet) Saylor, and Jacqueline M. (Marks) Saylor. Preceded in death by grandmother Donna R. (Hetrick) Marks. Survived by parents; siblings, Christina M.  (Benjamin) Saylor and Franklin E. Saylor; grandparents, Franklin D. Saylor, Leona P. (Mack) Saylor, and Edmond Marks. Also survived by loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michael graduated from Conemaugh Township Area High School. He graduated Penn State with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2017. In his earlier years, he enjoyed playing football among other sports. Mike enjoyed many outdoor activities including; off-roading, hunting, skiing, hiking and mountain biking. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving son and brother that had a kind heart and was always willing to help. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew him.  Friends received 3-8 pm Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where funeral service will be held at 10 am Thursday.
