Michael D. "Mike" Prozialeck

PROZIALECK---Michael D. “Mike,” 70, Richland, passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2023 at home. Born January 7, 1953, in Windber, son of Michael and Mildred (Cervik) Prozialeck. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Justine Prozialeck. Survived by loving wife of 42 years, Linda (Pasternak) Prozialeck; Kristen Killian and husband, Brad, Gibsonia, PA; Kelly Prozialeck, Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Wyatt and Savannah Killian. Brother of William Prozialeck, Dunlo. Also survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John “Pete” and Pam Mehall, Johnstown; and many wonderful friends. Mike was a graduate of Forest Hills High School and Western Carolina University, NC. In college, he was a scholarship cross country runner. Mike’s career started in teaching and coaching and after that he worked in car sales for over 40 years. After retirement, Mike enjoyed sports, traveling and spending time with his children and grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Parastas will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Dunlo with Very Rev. James A. Spontak presiding. Private entombment, Richland Cemetery Mausoleum at a later date.
