Melissa Ann Crotzer-Black

Crotzer-Black – Melissa Ann, 53, Crystal Spring, PA, formerly of Johnstown, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2024 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 2, 1970 in Johnstown, daughter of the late James E. and Karen J. (Stoup) Crotzer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by uncle, Gary Stoup. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Donald L. “Donny” Black; daughters, Dana and Krista Hiltabidel both of Johnstown; granddaughters, Aaliyah and Amiyah Hiltabidel; half-sister, Heather Crotzer; stepmother, Darlene Crotzer; stepbrothers, Earl, Jason, and John Getty; uncle, Thomas Crotzer, and aunt, Joanne Beck. 

 Missy was a graduate of Johnstown High School. She was a skilled bartender who made countless friends throughout her years. Missy enjoyed shooting pool, and passionately cheered for the Pittsburgh Steelers. She cherished time spent with her family and friends. 

In accordance with her wishes, Missy’s ashes will be scattered during a private funeral service. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
