McDaniel – Mckenneth Mckinley, 75, of Johnstown, went to be with the lord on Friday, May 30th, 2025 at Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber. He was born on April 4th, 1950 to his father, Kenneth Howard Johnson and mother, Dessie Jenkins. He was married to his loving wife, Betty (Haselrig) McDaniel
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty (Haselrig) McDaniel; his father, Kenneth Johnson and step-dad, Daniel Jenkins; Maternal grandmother, Pauline Young; Paternal grandfather, Nash Young; and sister, Royale Harvey. Mckenneth is survived by mother, Dessie Mae Jenkins; Children Shawn, Kevin, Kayla, Karyn; Step-children, Kelly, Tionna, James, Albert; Sisters, Rose Elaine (Benny) Gibson, Roxanne (James) Myers, Vickie (Joseph) Morris, Kevin (Andrea) Johnson, Keith Johnson, Kimela (Leo) Johnson, Kelly (Dale) Nash, Karl Johnson; step brothers and sisters, Donald Moody, Sarina, Forrest, Wendy, Dana, and Henry Harvey; Sister-in-law, Coretta (Albert) Scott And a host of grandchildren, great-grand children, nieces, nephews, and many other family members
Mckenneth graduated from East Conemaugh High School in 1968. Following High School, he decided to enlist in the United States Marine Corp and served during the Vietnam War. After his stint in the armed services, he came back to his community to serve as an LPN (Licensed Practicing Nurse) at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital and nursing homes. You could see him doing various odd jobs around town. He was a member at the Mt. Sinai Institutional Baptist Church.
Friends and Family are welcomed to join us for a Memorial Service at Baker Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services (229-231 First Street Johnstown, PA 15909) on Saturday, June 7th,2025 from 10 AM to 12 PM. With Pastor Coretta officiating and giving the eulogy at 11:00 AM.
