Cover – Maryann L., 52, Windber, went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2019 at her residence. Born on April 21, 1966 in Johnstown, daughter of Edward S. and Sylvia A. (Flaim) Lucas. Preceded in death by father. She is survived by her mother; husband, James S. III; daughters, Tessa (James A. Jr.) Pitera; and Carrie (Michael J.) Garlesky; grandchildren, Christopher, Lucas, Brooke, and Laney. Sister of Edward “Joe” (June), Joyce (Mearl) Schlosser, Robert (Robbin) and Jean (Brian) Lawrence; step children, Jonathan (fiancé, Kim), James, Jarid and Jude; and numerous nieces and nephews. Maryann was employed at H.F. Lenz Co. after 24 years of service as an Administrative Assistant to CEO Richard A. Madzar. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, with the Pastor Bradley Westover, officiating. Entombment at St. Anthony Cemetery Mausoleum, Windber. The family suggests contributions be directed to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, 337 Somerset St, Johnstown, PA 15901 in memory of Maryann.
