Mary Lou Yoder

Yoder – Mary Lou., 90, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2021 at Laurel View Village, Davidsville. Born on June 15, 1931 in Johnstown, daughter of Edwin L. and Pearl A. (Burtnett) Walls. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul D. Yoder; sister, Dolores Bowen; brother, Edwin “Ted” Walls, and two loving nieces, Judy Wingard and Kathy Vivian. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews. Mary Lou retired in 1990 as Vice President after 30 years of service from First West Virginia Bank N.A. in Wheeling, WV. She was a past member of Vance Presbyterian Church, Wheeling, WV, where she served on several boards. Mary Lou was a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church and a past member of the Windber Country Club. She enjoyed playing Bridge, fishing, cross word puzzles, working in the yard, and traveling with her late husband, Paul. Mary Lou loved her family dearly and will be remembered as a kind and loving wife, sister and friend. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Joseph R. Stains officiating.
