Mary A. "Toni" (Sievers) Vizzini

VIZZINI—Mary A. (Sievers) “Toni,” 86, passed on December 12, 2022. Born on October 28, 1936, in Johnstown, daughter of Edward and Alice I. (Williamson) Sievers. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dolores (Paul) Hicks; brothers, Edward (Irene) and William Sievers ; half-brothers, William and Eugene Smith; and granddaughter, Veronica Vizzini. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, James C. Vizzini and children, James C. Jr. married to Kayo, Douglas, GA; Vincent, married to Pamela, Poland, OH; Dale, Mantua, NJ; Robert, married to Cynthia, Salix; and Eric, married to Jennifer, Conway, SC; grandchildren, Alan, Luke, Brianna, Paige, Quintessa, Shane, Mitchell, Kalista, Tyler and Marc Vizzini; Amanda Blough; and Brandon (Amanda) Mock; great-grandchildren, Trenton, Logan and Presley Mock; and Kieran Blough; and sister-in-law, Lois Sievers, Davidsville; and many nieces and nephews. Toni was raised in Dilltown and graduated from United High School. She was a member of Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed hobbies like ceramics, crocheting and doll collecting. She also enjoyed time with family especially at their monthly luncheons. Toni worked at Bestform and was the secretary for the family business, Vizzini TV. She had also worked at Clark’s corner store in Westmont. She was a PTA president at United Elementary School. Toni enjoyed making currant, elderberry and blackberry jam with berries picked by her boys. She was the innovator of the zucchini apple pie. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Fr. David S. Peles.
