Kazik, Mary A., “Mella”, 94, of East Taylor Twp. Died Aug. 5, 2017, at Cambria Care Center. Born Dec. 17, 1922, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Macibym) Gasior. Also preceded in death by husband, Henry “Casey” Kazik; brothers, Teddy, Bill and Joseph “Peewee”; and sisters, Elizabeth “Bessie” Gvozdich and Rose Zajdel. Survived by daughter, Debbie, wife of Edward Naworol, Bel Air, MD; grandchildren, Aaron and Amanda; and great grandson, Sebastian Naworol. Sister of Sophie Cuturilo, Conemaugh; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Church of the Transfiguration, Conemaugh. Mella volunteered at many activities at former Assumption BVM Catholic Church. There will be no public visitation, however, family and friends are invited to Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM Tuesday at Transfiguration Church. Fr. Robert C. Hall, Pastor.
