Mark W. Mahanic

MAHANIC---Mark, 62, of Belsano, PA, went to be with the Lord on February 27, 2020, in Johnstown, PA. Born on June 5, 1957, in Trenton, Michigan. He is the loving son of James T. (of Lincoln Park, MI) Mahanic and Marylou (Paul) Mahanic (formerly of Nanty-Glo). Preceded in death by mother, brother, Gregory T. Mahanic, (Belsano, PA) and brother, Jeffery P. Mahanic, (Lincoln Park, MI). He is survived by his devoted companion, Jackie Verdavoir, (Belsano); and brothers, James P. Mahanic, (Grosse Ile, MI) and Roger C. Mahanic, (Allen Park, MI). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins both in Cambria County and Detroit, Michigan. Mark had relocated to Belsano in 1977, following his injuries sustained in a tragic coal mine explosion.
