Marion Przybyla

Przybyla – Marion, 73, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2022 at Laurel View Village. Born on January 7, 1949, in Johnstown, daughter of John and Mary (Knecht) Toth. Preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Erma Besseck.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, John S. Przybyla; daughters, Marie D. Spangler and her significant other, Monte Miller, Johnstown and Lisa A. Przybyla, Basking Ridge, NJ; sister, JoAnn (William) Holtzman, Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, John (Rochelle) Toth, Hooversville, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Marion was a 1966 graduate of North Star High School. She was owner and operator of Hair Fashions by Marion for 18 years and for 54 years was co-owner and operator of Marion Apartments. Marion was a leading member of Mercy Hospital Guild, and also a member of  Rotary Club and PA Realtor Association. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, gardening, camping, and traveling the world abroad. Marion loved carrying on her Hungarian traditions and especially loved spending time with her family.

At Marion’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests contributions be directed to Laurel View Village, 2000 Cambridge Dr, Davidsville, PA 15928 in memory of Marion.
