Marilyn J. Pavic

PAVIC---Marilyn Joyce, 72, Johnstown, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Born November 29, 1946, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Robert B. and Pernina C. (Ribblett) Reed. Preceded in death by grandson, Joshua Pavic. Survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard T. Pavic Sr.; children, Richard T. Pavic Jr., married to Shari (Manniccia), Nicktown; Mark A. Pavic, married to Lori (Domonkos), Vinco; and her daughter and best friend, Erin Pavic, East Taylor; also survived by her grandchildren, Lonnie J. Ramirez Jr. and girlfriend, Marquel; Mark Allen Joseph Pavic; and Payden Pavic; sister and best friend, Beth Lamb, married to Gerald W., Seward. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She loved doing search-a-word puzzles, reading and watching Law and Order. Her family and friends loved her baked beans and they always asked her to make them for family picnics. She was an avid fan of Tom Brady. She loved snowmen and had quite an extensive collection of them. Most of all, Marilyn lived for her family and loved them all very deeply. She loved spending time with her grandsons and they were everything to her. She was so very proud of them. Our mother was always smiling and happy and ready with a kind word or deed for anyone who needed her. She would always tell us that when she was no longer with us to think of this poem by Laura Ingalls Wilder, “Remember me with smiles and laughter. For that’s how I’ll remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don’t remember me at all.” The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First St., Conemaugh, where Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, with Fr.
