Marianne T. Studer

STUDER---Marianne, 64, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Marianne was born in Johnstown, PA, the youngest and only daughter of Frank and Rose (Yakubic) Kovalchic. She graduated from Conemaugh Valley Jr/Sr High school in 1977 where she met the love of her life and husband of 44 years, Rudy Studer Jr. She was a doting, loving, and exemplary mother to her son, Brandon. Her six grandchildren, Greyson, Gemma, Violet, Rustin, Redland, and Olive were the joys of her life. Marianne (Pookie) was a bright spot as a daughter, sister, aunt, and niece; she was surrounded by and usually the cause of deep, honest laughter that made up the memories of holidays and celebrations. She was gracious and inviting to so many people, especially her daughter-in-love Tabitha (Adams) and her bonus son R. Jason Hardwick. A patient and kind leader at any place she worked; including Lee Hospital and Highmark, she made everyone that knew her feel welcome and valuable. She had a special place in her heart for dogs, birthday cake, and the Caribbean. This is a deep loss for anyone left in the wake of her beautiful and joyful life. Marianne was preceded in death by her mother and father; Frank and Rose (Yakubic) Kovalchic, her brothers Ted and Johnathan, and her father-in-law, Rudy Studer Sr. She is survived by her husband Rudy Studer Jr, her son Brandon James (wife, Tabitha Adams), her brother Joseph, mother-in-law Doris, six grandchildren; Greyson, Gemma, Violet, Rustin, Redland, and Olive, and countless friends and extended family.
