MARTIN – Margaret E. "Maggie," 91, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2026 at Windber Woods. Born on December 19, 1934 in Johnstown, daughter of Isadore C. and Marie (Sellman) Weinzierl. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Charles; siblings, William, Robert, Arthur, Lester, Maryann Findley, James, Joseph and Thomas, son-in-law, James V. DeLuca. Maggie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her loving children, Thomas J., Alexandria, VA, Deborah A. DeLuca, Geistown, Pamela L. Martin, Lori M. (Michael) Brisko, Cynthia L. Martin, and James W., all of Richland Township; grandchildren, Jessica E. DeLuca, Fort Wayne, IN, Nicholas M., Alexis M., and Alexander T. (Jenna) Brisko, and Nathaniel T. Martin; great-grandchildren, Gianni James D. and Luchiano A. Castillo, sister-in-law, Audrey Martin and numerous nieces and nephews. Maggie was a 1952 graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. She enjoyed playing cards, going to casinos, and talking to her sister, Maryann, but most of all loved spending time with her family. Maggie was a spunky, sassy spitfire who always graced you with her opinion whether you wanted to hear it or not. At Maggie’s request, there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2026, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Committal will be at Grandview Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America at www.alzfdn.org or a charity of your choice in memory of Margaret E. "Maggie" Martin.
