Lester J. Dunmeyer Sr.

Dunmeyer – Lester J. Sr., 77, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2018 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born on February 27, 1940 in Johnstown, son of Harry L. and Thursa (Buckingham) Dunmeyer. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Lois Jean Lepley, daughter, Jean Dunmeyer. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marjorie A. (Gates) Dunmeyer; children, Scott A., (Mary) Johnstown, Shawn P. (Pamela), New Columbia, PA, Craig W. Sr. (Hilda), Johnstown, Deborah (Don) Barron, Lavansville, PA, Lester Jr. (Diana), Robert Dunmeyer, and Cathy Dunmeyer, all of Bedford, PA; grandchildren, Alan, Tyler, and Alex Kretz, Stephanie Wilt, Shane and Mikayla Dunmeyer, and Meagan and Craig Jr. Dunmeyer; siblings, Harry, Rockwood, PA, Paul and Ronald both of Somerset, PA, Robert, AK, Shirley, Dunbar, PA, Mary and Cathy, both of Listie, PA, and Pamela, MD and several nieces and nephews. Lester was owner and operator JD TV Sales and Service for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, eating ice cream, and will be remembered for his heart of gold. At Lester’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. The family is being served by the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh.
