BRANDON---Larnell, 68, Woodbridge, VA, went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2024. Born on August 28, 1955 in Johnstown, PA, son of Layton L. Sr. and Ruby L. (Willis) Brandon. Preceded in death by parents, sister, Geraldine “Gerry” (Brandon) Harris, brother, James D. Brandon and son, Kristopher Deshawn Morris “Shawn.” He is survived by his loving siblings, Layton Brandon Jr, and wife, Renee Brandon of Covington, GA, Beatrice Brandon of Woodbridge, VA, Gwendolyn “Gwen” Herr and husband, Albert Herr of Harrisburg, PA, Lawrence Brandon of Johnstown, PA and brother in-law, Alex Harris (husband of the late Geraldine (Brandon) Harris, Philadelphia, PA and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and aunts, Vera Willis of FL, Peggy Willis of NC, Barbara Willis of TX (all maiden names). Larnell Brandon attended Johnstown High School. He also served in the US Navy. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland with Dr. Darin Washington, Pastor (nephew) officiating. Interment will be at Benshoff Hill Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to Beatrice Brandon in memory of Larnell Brandon.
