Kenneth L. "Ken" Reesey

REESEY---Kenneth L. "Ken," 81, Richland, passed away on January 30, 2024 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born April 26, 1942, in Johnstown, son of Harold E. and Mary A. (McNeal) Reesey. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Gloria Jean Testerman, Rose M. Reesey and Ethel Sullivan and long-time companion, Laura Lefchick. Survived by wife, Judith (Mock) Reesey and daughters, Shari Mock, Windber; Brandi Reesey, Johnstown and Diane Trovato, Richland; also survived by grandchildren, Jase Mock, Shianne Mock (Dave and Hank) and Tyler and Dylan Trovato; nephew, Colin Reesey and longtime friend, Jim McDannell. Retired member of the Pennsylvania National Guard since 1974. Ken was the originator and former owner of the Corner Coffee Shoppe for 38 years. He sold it to the new owners in 2011. Member of the Johnstown Radio Control Airplane Club and was an avid airplane model builder. Member of Salix Bethel Church. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until time of Funeral service at 4 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with military rites by Menoher VFW, Post #155 Ritual team.
